Imperial Hotel and Restaurant Cripple Creek

Gary and Wini Ledford, the owners of the Carr Manor, the historic Cripple Creek High School have purchased the historic Imperial Hotel and Restaurant. The Ledfords are retired builders and have experience in restoration of historic buildings as they previously completed the entire transformation of the Cripple Creek High School one block away from the Imperial Hotel.

The Hotel

The new challenge for the Ledfords is the 26-room historic Imperial Hotel, once the queen of
Cripple Creek's tourism industry. The hotel had fallen on hard times in recent years.
The Ledfords will reduce the number of rooms to 15, all with renovated private bathrooms and many will of them become mini-suites, with a living room with roll out couch, allowing for children to stay. The plan is to keep as much of the historic ambience as possible while introducing more energy efficient lighting and heating elements.

The Imperial Hotel will be a perfect Cripple Creek, Colorado vacation for families. Four rooms are ready to rent.

The Restaurant

The restaurant received a face lift and the kitchen has been brought up to current health codes. The Ledfords have made the restaurant more family friendly with a more affordable Italian menu, which they hope will draw from a broader area.
